| Artists Statement | My heart is in my brush my soul is in my pen I stumble through the darkness into emptiness and then I splash paint upon a canvas or ink upon a page and the colors fill the void and my vision takes the stage and my words retell a story of my dreams and hopes and fears as my paintings chase serenity as I travel thru the years so I reach into my heart or I peer into my soul in an effort to bring beauty to a world thats dark and cold I try not to rush to judgement as an inspiration nears because time will help me crystalize my hopes and dreams and fears I stand back and look and listen for my critics to reply and their words are often silent as they quietly pass by So I look into my heart and I reach into my soul and the magic makes me better and the passage makes me whole |
